5. Plastic Man was considered to appear in the Justice League Unlimited animated series. However, due to the legal rights being used for the 2006 Pilot, he was unavailable. He was referenced in the show, and got a DCAU design for books set in that world
We’ve SEEN how he’s been treated by the general superhero community with complete disregard for his life and safety, we’ve even seen him abandon his old life for a new one (under much more understandable circumstances, mind you). There’s potential there!
On another note… if I had a nickel for everytime that main character had an ex who pretty much hated him for decently understandable reasons but never got much development or growth from beyond that and likely never will and so it stuck as “his bitchy ex”
If I had a nickel for everytime my favorite media had a main character who was a crook/ex-con who suddenly got superpowers while nearly dying and using their abilities to help people out and changing into a much better person* while also have a morally ambiguous fat sidekick…
With ComiXology’s recent sale, I picked up a good amount of books, the first of which being Batman: Death By Design by Chip Kidd and Dave Taylor. This is a book I highly recommend, both in its intriguing and engaging story, and absolutely gorgeous art!
@MadsTweetedThis There’s a lot of info of it out there, including the cast, concept art of what the team would’ve looked like, even costumes
