The X-Men are, admittedly, my one big blindspot when it comes to comics. There just hasn’t been anything I’ve seen on them that really makes me go “oh I wanna read more.” It’s a weird thing that I know is my problem that I need to fix, but as of now, yeah.
I’d say Wolverine https://t.co/GXAjwlUIHY
You know, I was thinking earlier today about Hawk and Dove, and I think it’s a shame that we don’t often see sensitive male heroes in comics. There’s interesting stuff you could do with a character like Don Hall, and I think it’s a shame he’s overlooked all the time
Luke having brown eyes in this one issue of Terrifics was neat. Blue eyes are all too common in comics, so seeing another color feels different.
Hey you! Did you see the news about Mr. Terrific, and wanted to learn more about him? Well you’re in luck! The Terrifics is a 31 issue series where Mr. Terrific is the leader of his own superhero team! It’s a great series with fantastic exploration of Mr. Terrific and who he is!
I don’t know why, but I’ve come to realize I have a real big connection to characters that are two guy best friends who always will stand by each other. One‘s of average height, build and more the “straight man”, the other shorter, chubbier and goofier.
Need me a pal like that
“But Alex Ross, Plastic Man and Captain Marvel were never part of that Justice League Of America era? In fact, was Captain Marvel ever PART of the JLA? And where’s Firestorm?”
Including the fact that by then, Plastic Man actually had a recent comic run. In ‘95 Plas’ last book was from 1988, and wasn’t* collected, while in 2008 he had Kyle Baker’s ultra-satiric 20 issue series that had at least two trade collections, and a substantial run in the JLA
