Wild to me how the writers of Batman Beyond/Justice League Unlimited thought “oh hey, neither of Terry McGinnis’ parents have black hair,” and instead of just, say, shrugging and going on with it, or say he dyed it, they went “WELP, HE’S ACTUALLY BRUCE’S GENETIC SON”

Jackpot is a funny obscure character to me. Her whole gimmick was that you THINK she was Mary Jane Watson, who hadn’t been in comics for a while… until no, she really isn’t. She’s just a woman named Sara with powers (and apparently an MJ fangirl)

@SuperiorDawn Nope. Her whole character existed as a red herring, especially given that MJ hadn’t been in comics since OMD. This lady, named Sara, had “enhanced abilities and agility” powers. Then, she sold the Jackpot identity to a friend, Alana, who had to take drugs for powers

@MilitechMatty Then, that lady sold her identity to a friend. the OJ Jackpot had powers, but this one didn’t, so had to take super drugs to get powers, and I think died of an overdose. The original had to come back, and then quit when Boomerang killed her husband (I think)

Anyways, we get a rather cool scene where new Saturn Girl sees the future, and sees New Joker (rendered in a really scary fashion, which I love) trying to kill Carrie. I’d say I love the scene, except for the fact it then reveal Carrie fought him BEFORE, and killed him
