Whenever I read New 52 Justice League issue 25 by Geoff Johns (the one where Plastic Man is given a new origin and then never elaborated on)

What I will say sucks is the fact that Batman is perfectly fine with innocent people getting killed, and not allowing the other heroes to save innocents. It’s just wrong, and not how Batman should be

The more I read this the more I realize just how much Joe Kelly used THIS book as an inspiration for how he wrote Plastic Man. Even the coma dreams Plas mentions here were used in JLA.

I have to admit, Miller does seem like he’s having fun with Plastic Man, artistically. I think he actually might be a fan in general, given that he actually wrote Plas as being a founding JLA member in his All Star Batman and Robin book

Batman casually letting people die in an alien invasion, even though he has heroes who CAN HELP, is very out of character for any good Batman. Like WTF.

Oh hey, something actually resembling backgrounds, and detail.

4 pages of satire talking heads on some… I guess news show or something? Except it’s got tons of random people who only show up once? It’s all so random, and the fact that they’re mostly close ups give, again, a lack of actual awareness of where this is taking place

LMFAO screw this book. Batman seems to know that Superman is essentially being held hostage by Luthor and Brainiac, and seemingly knows that he has no choice in the matter, but still has everyone attack the crap out of him and make him look stupid and beat on him. Wth

I just realized that Carrie’s Catgirl costume is now all grey
