This was a daunting project, and it took a bit to get it done, but when I finally got the chance to sit down and paint this, it actually came out pretty well! I’ve got a lot to learn, but I can’t wait for my next project!

This started as a sketch, but I decided this could count as a more finished piece as well. Messing with composition and all is an interesting process, and hopefully I can continue to find interesting things to make. XP

Here it is! My first personal project of the year. My goal is to do at least ten, and this is a good start. What started as a girl surrounded by flowers became a mermaid with some sort of magic, and I can’t say I’m disappointed. XP

Happy New Years! Here’s a badge I made for myself for my first convention with a friend of mine (@Raydoodles3 ). PDFC was a trip, and I’m kinda curious to see how it goes next time, because the first time will always be a little rough. I can’t wait to do something again soon!

Merry Christmas! This is a portrait I made as a gift for my friend, @raydoodles_ . It was interesting to draw digitally again, and a good way to make sure I kept in touch at least a little until I picked things up again. Hope you have a wonderful holiday, guys!

Finally did another digital piece! I wanted to experiment with a more oil paint style/texture, and I’ve gotta say I kinda like it! Just gotta keep on building that mileage.

Also gave me a chance to try out @JazzaStudios new brush set. Awesome stuff!

After constructing a mood board with a friend of mine, this was the result I landed upon! Kind of a neat idea, and I like how the trunk came out. I want to improve my story elements and such, so I’ll be spending some time doing that over my next few drawings. XP

Just a simple bust this time. I’ve been struggling to draw lately, so I’m pretty happy I got this one in, haha! It’s a leap forward, and I can’t wait to keep progressing!
