It started with checking FMA for 2 seconds for Takashi Tomioka and it ended over an hour later with one of my favorite Nakamura scenes, whoops

Never noticed the bikes in this scene before, his mecha background shows itself in subtle places every now and then

if youve ever tried to draw a hand, youd prob agree that theyre really difficult to draw with any consistency. Taking it a step further and /animating/ them requires maintaining that consistency across sometimes dozens+ drawings, so I have a lot of respect for artists like Suzuki

@peeshitter Sure np, Nishii is from a Yoshihiko Umakoshi school of animation so her style is similar in the way noses are handled with minimal investment, similar shading too. These are just a couple examples I grabbed quickly
