Some local breckland Curlews from the past few days, for #WorldCurlewDay @WCDApril21 @waderquest
Final pics from the day, the Rough-legged Buzzard at Weeting. Q windy while I was there, tripod moving, cold. Not sure about iris colour. Nice to see you @EdgecombeM @sconebirding !
Nice break from birds/netting trophy hunting, Brexit and climate change tweets today: otters on local river! finally got amazing views! A lot of painting direct with paintbrush, q free. Hard to capture, easy for them to look like Capybara or seals! 🙂🐾🐾🐾🎨🎨
Got my mojo back with painting today; marathon 12 hrs in field. More paint sketches to follow.. Nice to see you @DEBALMER @stubutchart @dku1000 @sconebirding @t_humpage ! 🙂
Another from the Cairgorms, the lone Mountain Hare looking exposed without much snow: climate change in progress?...
Just about recovered from Shetland now! We failed to get there on Monday - the boat was fully booked. Spent the day in the Cairngorms instead, doing a 10km walk for Ptarmigan.
Waders on Gugh Bar, Isles of Scilly, Oct 2015, painted at the time. #WorldCurlewDay
Seawatching from Gwennap Head, Porthgwarra last week: Manx, Cory's, Sooty Shearwater, Dolphins, the Scillonian, etc.
A few more Notts Bee-eater sketches. @RSPBMidlands @RSPBbirders @RareBirdAlertUK @BirdGuides @CEMEX_UK
A few hours spent with the superb Notts Bee-eaters back in late June. Bit late, finally tweeting... @RSPBMidlands @NaturesVoice @RSPBbirders
