So, to finish this. Originally Metal Greymon was simply a Virus Digimon that evolved after wining various fights by mechanizing its own body. Nothing more than that.

As the previous episodes already showed as shadows, Calamaramon is going to appear. Although the website didn't mention that Velgrmon was connected with the Warrior Ten (Outside of saying that it has "power over darkness) the profile from the episode itself mentioned that.

So, I can't help but think that the discussions between Hitomi/Sakuji with Onuki is in a way a parallel of those who likes to think more about the "wonders of the Pokémon world" and those who thinks that this is a waste of time.

Pokédex entries are, of course, Infamous with a lot of people making joke about them, saying that no one should trust them or at worst, simply saying that nobody should talk about them as if they were serious.

Reading the interaction between these characters was amazing for me, specially due to the mentions of in-game events. But, I do love this for other reason.

The three of them would analyze the "wonders of the Pokémon world" through various angles, giving different opinions on the rumors of the world.

And finally we have Professor Onuki (オーヌキ教授), a big Occult denier. He's a physics professor at an university and is a big believer that all the "occult events" are in fact scientifically demonstrable phenomena.

The other is Hitomi (ヒトミ) a Hex/Occult Maniac. Her love of mystery is something that she always had since childhood and since then she is always doing researches about the occult. Of course, ghost-type Pokémon are her favorite.

First we have Sakuji (サクジ), a Ruin Maniac, loves to research ancient ruins and thinks that these ruins are deeply connected with Pokémon.

Looks like ReArise is going to the route of being Royal Knights vs Seven Great Demon Lords once again

And I thought that Chronicle X would be the last time where this plot was going to be used in the next few years, but is once again there.
