@AnxNeckGames @AVKid4 @YohDood Ah dude don't worry, it took me years to master certain styles.
When I worked on Thorne, took me a long time for me to actually get the look really nailed down. I can learn alot faster now though.
I reckon if you really want to do that style you got, study said style.
@AnxNeckGames @YohDood Oh yeah, I push myself to always convey the idea even if it's something I'm not used to. So long as it's the best for conveying the idea I gotta.
The most experimental I get is when I'm doing art inspired by other people's work's. Because I try to capture the "essence" of it.

I want to make this game more of an "evolution" of retro rather than 1-1. At least regarding Golden Flame (The Amano you saw above is missing alot of his animations)
@AnxNeckGames I know that feeling, just keep going at it till it really looks nice.
@truthblade01 Though perhaps taking more reference could of helped a bit. Stuff like Wammu's attack here are perfect references for a spinning wind attack. Or perhaps trying to emulate Leo's own golden slash VFX could of worked well too.
Maybe try those out in future. Hope this helps mate :D

She's essentially a shapeshifting tree spirit. Her entire body is made of energy that emulates plant material.
Able to send out sharp wind element blades, and turn completely intangible while dashing. If grabbed, she can explode out a great force.
