You have to hand it to Daisuke Ishiwatari, his character designs are anything but formulaic 🙃
Tregas was designed with ease of access in mind, having well rounded stats and a moveset facilitating an aggressive style of play.

The character designs were inspired by the design styles of the 80s ie He Man, Thundercats etc, with a focus on clear personalities and immediately distinctive visual cues.
If I can continue developing it in subsequent years, I'm confident it can be well received #indiedev
Biker Mice from Mars was an early/mid 90s franchise clearly expected to be the next big thing, heavily promoted with toys, comics, a cartoon etc, but sadly only lasted a few years 😟
It also spawned a SNES racer with beautiful isometric graphics!
