Megaman 1's Guts Man is perhaps the most well known of all the Robot Masters.

Known for being big and strong with the look of a construction worker, I wonder if his odd name is a Japanese misunderstanding of Western 'Guts/Machismo', and his name is meant to be 'Macho Man'? 🤔

I love Street Fighter Gen's design.

Eschewing the wise, gentle old master stereotype, Gen is a cold blooded, murdering, remorseless old bastard, and no move in his arsenal better showcases this than his anti-air Super where he stomps repeatedly on your head - brutal!

Hyped beyond belief in the early 90s for it's revolutionary graphics, games media outlets of the time KNEW that THIS was the future of gaming - but as we now know, it was utterly terrible and a complete disaster.

Bilstein from Capcom's short lived Star Gladiator is an interesting villain, in that his visual appearance was changed in the sequel Plasma Sword to this brown/yellow knight design, his previous skull faced armour becoming the powered up 'Ghost Bilstein'.

Both look cool though.

Uranus is trending, and it got me thinking - who's old enough to remember Battle Arena Toshinden 2, where a character by that name was the sub boss?
