@JakeCartoons I just thought up a few more:
- Lenore
- Model A (Mega Man ZX Advent)
- Il-Ho (There She Is!!)
- Tak (Invader Zim)
It's #PortfolioDay for me, so here goes.
My name's Rifter and I'm an average alien from an average space colony who likes to make pixel art and simple sketches, and I also want to make a game someday. Don't have much to show, but I do want to produce more artwork.
New profile pic, because I look to moody in the old one. I should lighten up a bit.
I'm making top down Mario sprites for practice, and I want some feedback on what I could improve on before I start making different angles.

@JakeCartoons I have a few suggestions!
- Rayman
- Milk
- Alyx Vance
- Red Guy
@YoshiMilkman @SMWikiOfficial With Bowser, they just straight up re-use his pre-rendered sprites from Yoshi Topsy-Turvy and just trace over it. It's that sloppy.
I feel with All Stars Super Mario Bros. 3 it doesn't carry the abstract look the original has. I like the caves especially since it looks like an icy alien planet. Not saying SNES is worse, visually it's more detailed. I just like the original look more.

@iandimas @DailyRockman I never really like how garish the color schemes are in the SNES era of Mega Man, which I'm glad they moved away from it since.
Sonic Colors manage to have such unique level aesthetics while still having a consistent amusement park theme. While the game is too reliant on 2D gameplay, have short levels, and a story that aged somewhat poorly, I still adore the game for how unique it is.

I really appreciate Mega Man 6 and Mega Man V on Game Boy give the bosses a consistent theme. 6 has a regional theme, while V had a space theme. It makes them stand out, and I wished more Mega Man games have consistent theming for the Robot Masters.
