Thread: Here’s a vibrant ink drawing that explores the dramatic colours of tulips. For me these flowers represent the possibility of creating art. You start with a brown bulb & end up with bold joyful colours.
One of my earliest memories is planting flower bulbs aged 3. I remember my amazement that these bulbs turned into giant (I was smaller than them) colourful tulips. This original drawing I did is a memory of that magic called Five Tulips (2021)
Here’s one of my original ink drawings where I explored how imagination might be presented.
The unique work combines scientific ideas of nerve & other cells, visual & aural inputs & the emotion of colour. It’s called The Imaginary Mind (2021). Details below
