Gustave Caillebotte (1848-94) was a relatively unknown French impressionist, his work only gained recognition in the 1950s. He is admired for his unusual angles, greater realism & concern with people. Boulevard (1880), Seascape (1884) & Paris (1877). He’s a fascinating artist
I’m fascinated with hares & rabbits. The former are native to Ireland & are traditionally described as changelings. They are said to change into women & should not, as a result, be eaten! They’re also often used to describe athleticism - ‘lepping like a hare’
