Turns out I've spent all day painting this instead of doing what I was supposed to be doing. But sometimes you just have to paint an otter, y'know? More Otter book news soon! 🦦 https://t.co/HeNwzu2wux
While #sameartist is still trending, just wanted to say Vincent, I really love you man.
#sameartist is a fun tag today. Here's a few different things from me.
Also a shout-out to book designers Rob Ward and Nia Williams. I can't find you on Twitter to tag you in, but let me know if you're here! 🙂
@janis_elise Way ahead of you Jan! 😄 - These were done for a set of Guernsey stamps to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the odes.

I loved The Secret Commonwealth by @PhilipPullman. I painted this scene from it as a private commission for a friend. Can't wait for the illustrated edition of Northern Lights with artwork by Chris Wormell. His atmospheric covers have been superb. https://t.co/eT3Mdt9Eq1
This #100percentzoom thing has been fun 😍
I thought I'd take some full size crops from the same image. I usually combine hand painted textures and elements with digital painting. The crops show how the image looks a 100% in Photoshop.
@SerenaMalyon Beautiful work Serena 😍. I love #blueart! I’m with you on those palette choices. Especially Prussian cerulean and ultramarine. Maybe Windsor blue. I’d love to get my hands on some real lapis lazuli pigment. Here’s some of my blue things.
More exciting book post! Advance copy of @disney Chills, coming soon from @studiobooks It was great fun interpreting well known Disney villains in this stripped-back spooky silhouette style.

#WIP 'Forest Bride' inspired by #RobinOfSherwood - my absolute favourite show as a kid in the 80s (Currently being re-run on @itv4) Had no time to work on it since posting a couple of weeks ago, but here's a quick experiment with some more branches and stuff. Still a lot to do!
