I really don't remember if I already included Pac-Mania in this thread, but uh....
Hey, I played through Pac-Mania!
Of course, it's the NES version. Because the NES version is the best version, and I will forever die on this hill.
This month marks a whopping 10 years since I made "Missleman Spy Strike 2."
I've already established Missileman as an IP of my own four years prior, and played with Game Maker a LOT from there.
So why do I hold this specific game so near and dear to my heart?
(Thread 1/?)🧵
Successfully nuzlocked Pokémon Emerald.
I think I'm starting to really get the appeal of nuzlockes. The limitations they bring to the game do add some challenging strategy to the core Pokémon experience.
Of course, I still walloped the Elite Four with a level 75 Azumarill.
Finally, I managed to beat a Pokémon nuzlocke! Rather appropriately, I did this in FireRed.
There's something about the 2D titles that just...hit differently. Granted, I constantly fast-forwarded in the emulator to prevent the game being too much a slog.
Since the Mario movie is now something we've actually gotten a taste of, here's a painting I did a few years ago for college.
Based on a behind-the-scenes pic of the 1993 film.
Recently I beat a couple Donkey Kong Country games. Those being Tropical Freeze and Dixie Kong's Double Trouble.
Always nice to revisit games from this series, that much I can add.
