@EdenSolera Yaetherim is a florakind fairy. As such, he's got palm-frond like hair and bark-brown skin.

An attack left him with 9 scars - 8 on arms & legs, and a 9th across his chest. There was also a hole cut in his wing, patched with airship skin fabric.

@AshlyRice9 Fairies in Rychilla transform shortly after they get their magic, to better match their element. E.g. florakinds get bark-brown skin and leaf-green hair, waterkinds get blue skin, webbed fingers + toes and freckles that resmble coral, etc.

@GabriellaBuba Yaetherim and Charlys have known each other since they were younglings. They're in love but haven't realised it yet. Charlys was by Yaetherim's side after he was assaulted. He helps her when the North Alken Stewardship is on the verge of falling apart.

@AlinaLeonovaSF Yep. He's a former forest protector, who was attacked while on patrol. One attacker was a mage. Now Arch-Mage Darnith needs a replacement.

Darnith was impressed by Yaetherim's testimony at the trial, and wants him to assess if any candidates are dodgy.

@Madeline_Pine Yaetherim's got a few scars. There are moments in WIP1 when he shows them off, for shock value. He's trying to find those who gave them to him.

In future books, they're part of him. He doesn't showcase them, and is only self-conscious in terms of romance.

@vivissiah Karis' official title is 'Veritor', but she's known as 'The Steel Veritor'. This is due to her naturally silver eyes and hair, as well as her cold and steely demeanor.

@MicheleQuirke These are the other two MCs, Nelack and Naeliya. They form a platonic friendship after working a few cases together.

They can usually be found playing board games and socialising at Cropper's Crony of an evening.

@MicheleQuirke Tenora (blue hair) works with Karis to investigate a case that hits a painful part of Karis' past. After Karis breaks down, Tenora helps her come to turns with it.

From that, they develop a mutual respect and understanding of each other. It turns into love.

@MicheleQuirke Within my 6 MCs, I have 2 couples that will be forming. They just haven't realised yet. Yaetherim and Charlys have been friends since childhood. They understand each other closely and have always been there for one another.
