Due to the differences in physical form bet. ride & rider, it functions much like a vehicle w/a bunch of preset macros & an OS that adapts in real-time to the local situation. This often results in an 'uncanny valley' quality to its movements, esp. w/inexperienced riders. 4/4
Equu-ped purpose-built as an archery platform, the equivalent of a horse archer. Highly mobile, w/digitigrade legs, active tail stabilizer. Usually serves in flanking/enfilade/raiding roles. Lightly armored at best, unsuited to close-quarters combat against heavier units. 1/x
AsGear suffer from feedback/control lag, the delay before the suit moves the way you want it. Movements tend to be stiff, deliberate, and tiring to the wearer. Continuing advances in control-coil technology has steadily shortened this gap, though. 2/2
Equu-ped for heavy cavalry use. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the tech & design has remained mostly unchanged in the centuries since the glory days of old, which ended when everything came crashing down in an ecologically-unsustainable flood of giant monsters. 1/x
Basically a magical M-79 grenadier in an infantry platoon. The spellbombs can be enchanted with a variety of magical 'payloads,' esp. ones w/AoE, but are usually reserved for offensive spells after one too many incidents of the enemy getting buffed up instead of blown up. 1/2
Was expecting Ironbottom Sound to be a bloody slog, but the All-Star DD dream team did it in one try, and the entirety of E-6甲 only cost 5% of my resource stockpiles to boot.
