@JuliaMetzgerArt This is a great idea! I've been trying for a while to show as many sketches as possible alongside my finished works.
Anyway, I'm Sam, and I work mainly on SF/fantasy IPs - lately it's mostly on Games Workshop lines over at Cubicle 7.

Some days you just have to shoot a #vampire, no matter the #bats. It's how we do things around here.

Elves have changed a lot over the years, with mullets no longer acceptable among elves, so Malmir needed some fresh stylings. Otherwise, he went from a Robin Hood-type getup to more modern-Warhammer swirling shapes and symbols (and leaves) attire. Naturally the lute had to stay!

Some of mine:

With Johann, his tunic shape was maintained, but it was changed to a sleeveless gambeson. His moustache and hairstyle stayed the same, and that was enough to anchor the character's identity. After that, he got WFRP4-Warhammered in appearance, and was given a short hooking pole.
