@BackintheBronze @BronzeAgeBabies #DanGreen's painted DOCTOR STRANGE graphic novel [INTO SHAMBALLA] (with @JMDeMatteis) is an absolute masterpiece!

He's also one of my favorite #DoctorStrange pencilers (on a short run of Master of the Mystic Arts 58-61).

He's definitely top 10 for me.

I prefer it.

Doom is SUCH an egomaniac that the tiniest imperfection is hideous.
Great psychological drama.

But… Byrne met Jack and Stan halfway with a bigger scar.

Then cranked it to 11 with a red hot mask.

What about the 4-issue MARVEL SPOTLIGHT miniseries from 1995, that was supposed to feature #DoctorSTRANGE (with covers by @KyleHotz)?
Covers were created, Issues solicited but it never came to pass.

They were REPRINTS so why not??

The fact that JUGHEAD plays the Man-Thing role, and Archie the one in need of rescue is also BLATANT "homage".

It has long since passed the time when @Marvel editors held artists to a style guide (not so much the old "Draw like X", but to actually keep characters on-model- ie: costumes being accurate).
