I almost regret my harsh "review" of Doctor Strange: Nexus Of Nightmares, because it STARTED fairly well!

The first few pages were actually good!
I was getting a sense the NIGHTMARE was being treated as a legitimate threat (which is RARE).

But then it became a bad MORDO story.

@KevinNowlan sold it well on his cover!

However, while not the first (or last) time Doc would absorb a foe, it turned out to be a precursor to that type of thing on #WhatIf.

Tidbit: they returned in an issue of DEFENDERS where was revealed they were really a disguised, reality-warping #ConcordanceEngine.
