@Travel4Wildlife Mr Tuba in lipstick! I know this species well (and the unearthly, relentless shriek of the fledging nagging its parents).

Depending on the light, the lipstick (@revlon Odyssey and Stardust) looks quite different.

@AnaglogsDaughtr Anyway, I’ve painted a few black dogs in my time. One is always trailing me, one way or another. Hoping yours leaves you alone sooner rather than later.

Elephants! Of all the animals I’ve encountered in the wild, these scare me the most. I’d rather face lions. #WorldWildlifeDay

White rhinos - I only know only too well the heartache of watching these gentle giants being slaughtered by poachers.

It’s #WorldWildlifeDay. Wildlife is one of my favourite subjects, so here’s a thread of some of my work. Not all of it is conventionally realistic - this jade rabbit was inspired by the critically endangered riverine rabbit, endemic to the semi-desert regions of South Africa.
