Gege loves self deprecating humour but I feel this makes perfect sense & was intended to, for us.

All humans have CE but most can't perform Jujutsu. It would follow then that even the simplest abilities require far more than 1 single increment of CE.

Anime adaptation of the tattoos were an error & I remember it being one of my biggest early frustrations + points of argument with presenting the idea of Sukuna's Tattoo's being seals..

Subsequent panels & art seem to have now confirmed as much. 🙏🏽

I initially presented Sukuna's Tattoo's being seals for his true form in 2018 because imo evidence had already been given..
Sukuna had 2 rings on his arms & none in his true animalistic form.
Validity was added later as reverting to 4 arms left single rings on each arm.. #ShadzJK

Would be cool if this was actually used as Gege's intended hand sign for Choso's potential DE.. Almost feeling like an inverse/rejection of his parent. 👌🏽

To build a damn training lair under the Sogyoku is insane. He definitely had to use both spacial manipulation & cloaking spells at least.. That means even in his younger days, Urahara was already competent enough to hide this all from Soul Society.. 🤯
