I like how quickly this went from Shin training against Gaku to now Gaku training against Taro. Since Gaku is so insanely strong already, it's hard to believe he's part of the current gen too. Prime Taro, Uzuki, Nagumo etc still on another level..

Potentially Horikoshi was considering a crossbow for Nagant's weapon design initially but settled on the elbow cannon that we got.
Then he gave the go ahead for Bones to use those older ideas for Beros in WHM?

I believe this moment to be a direct parallel. Yoruichi could've stopped Ichigo before having to reveal herself. She instead was reinvigorated by his words & chose to respect his wishes to save his friends, against all odds. As she had also once done in the past.. 👌🏽
