I will post weekly if it kills me. This is the opening image for my thesis book, featuring mine and @originalsinnerr's frogsonas!
It feels like forever since I finished this piece, it was my first real attempt at storytelling last semester. I wanted to reinterpret William Blake's "A Poison Tree." I'm really happy with the concept, I want to give the execution another pass when I'm more confident in my work.
@BelgianBoolean Hello #artshare! My name's Shane (he/him) and I'm a children's book/comic illustrator! I like getting to play with character designs and composition and colors. These are a few of my pieces I'm proud of from this year.
I’m working on a bunch of small illustrations to learn plants and practice this sorta style.
So I finished the comic, this is not the finish BUT I’m learning a new way to do my flats and colors that’s faster and way cooler than before. I wish I didn’t like the no line version so much because inking has been my favorite part of my process D:
I’m working on a long-form comic idea and trying to do some proof of concept sketches between doing homework. I like my line work, but something about the coloring feels off.
@Taijuey Darkest dungeon has some really cool and disgusting bosses, but I always think of the Shrieker.
I love figure drawing but I always work way too light to photograph. Today was my first time doing studies on my iPad and I’m actually super happy with the results!
you ever just have those moments where you just really love arting it up? Here's a sneak peak of a deer that my professor said I drew too naturalistically for the rest of the piece and had to stylize down.
