This, unlike Pale Man, was tea-stained after the drawing was finished. I was experimenting with which approach worked best.
Pre-stain keeps detail sharp and clean while post makes pigment bleed a little.

My anal-retentiveness took what was supposed to be a rough draft and turned it into a three week-long battle to keep the pencil from blooming on the paper. I just got lost in the details.
