Hmmm I remember a few year ago seeing those #MassEffect Geth weapons and thinking "Holy crap, no idea if I could do them justice"
Well... I think that now, I'm ready to tackle them

I didn't expect to finish the main modeling this quickly but here we are. I think I spent about 6hours on it.
I'll let it sit for a few days and come back later to cut it for printing and see if I missed anything.

Ok, final WIP for today for the Disciple from #MassEffect
(ho boy! It feels really good to do some modeling again!)

I was looking at the pic and thought "Hmmm... That middle part would probably be a bit tricky to make... unless...? Ok let's open solidworks just to see if this could work..."

So apparently, DLPs don't like printing large flat area directly on the buildplate so I'll try it this way.

Btw I'm resisting the urge to work on Alois Armor from Fire Emblem Three Houses...

Not perfect by any means but I'll go back to them after completing other projects and learning new tricks. (Some pics have perspective enabled and some don't so proportion may feels weird)
