Bringing @drawin_casscain's Lady Shiva Beyond back on account of having just finished Edgerunners.
*Great* show, by the way. Been a while since I got hooked that bad on one.
@bryanedwardhill I'd watch/read/buy that. The banter alone would be worth it, but I think that, yeah, there's also a healthy lot of room to explore things like different ideas of motherhood and where they come from.
To celebrate #BatmanDay in a spirit of goodwill, let's all enjoy that one time the Dark Knight and the Mistress of the Martial Arts teamed-up in Batman #534, by Doug Moench, Jim Aparo (!) and Bill Sienkiewicz (!!!).
@NikolaCizmesija You know who it issssssss
Though I also really like that Plas and Vic. Nice job on Black Lightning too!
So @NikolaCizmesija's secret project is an absolutely spectacular cover for URBAN LEGENDS #23 that's so, so very beautiful, it almost completely eases the pain of this being the last issue.
Seriously tho', love the variety on display here. Shame to see this anthology go.
Surprise surprise, the body switch plot from the Batgirls annual continues on #13, so that's two Shiva appearances in a row.
I can't say I'm super excited for it but at least they say she's trying to make amends, which is always better than the alternative.
Now I'm no gambler, but Auntie Ante really got me doubling down bad.
