Thanks to many past experiences when friends go out of their way to do nice things for me, and ask for nothing in return I get suspicious.
While I've learned that it's good to be cautious, being too cautious of someone who's done nothing to deserve it can harm relationships.
Some can't sit down and read a book. Saying that audiobooks don't count is unfair, and ableist.
The only way I can finish a book easily is if it's part of a series I'm fixating on, like the Flavia de Luce series which is a murder mystery series. I'm 99% sure Flavia is autistic.

In media autistics are often geniuses, and it made me feel like since I was a talent-less high-school dropout I was stupid. In truth I'm good at baking. It's my talent, but I couldn't see it until it was pointed out to me. 1/2
I have dysgraphia, and I hate how clumsy my hands are because of it. I drop things, knock things over, have trouble grabbing things. It's so annoying!

I remember going to the grocery store used to be like an adventure: kind of stressful but there was always the chance of finding something cool. Now grocery shopping is just an anxiety inducing mess. How times have changed.
It's astounding how much of an affect anxiety can have on the body. Honestly 2020 wrecked my body from anxiety alone.

I always prefer morning appointments because I always find myself not wanting to start anything out of fear that I'll lose track of time and miss my appointment, so I spend the day sitting around doing nothing.

This comic is literally just a visual gag about not getting a joke. It still makes me laugh to this day.

This was based off the first time my partner learned what happened when they hugged me when I wasn't expecting it, and really didn't want it. They quickly learned not to do that again.
It's amazing how many autistics realize they're autistic because another autistic suggests they may be autistic.
Also, if this comic looks familiar it's because it's retelling of a previous comic I made, but went a different route.
