Feast of the Holy Family
In the family life of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are exemplified the proper relations that should exist between husband and wife, parents and children. By practicing the domestic virtues of charity, obedience, and mutual help, they sanctified family life.

St. Narcissus was Bishop of Jerusalem. According to Eusebius, he performed many miracles. One of them occurred during the Easter Vigil when St. Narcissus changed water into oil to supply all the lamps of the church. He died at the old age of 117 years. (99 AD–216 AD)
