story behind this one - Ikkad took a concept posted in the Allspark's Discord server and ran with it! Having not really done any colouring in months, I decided to give his design a quick go - and in true Transformers fashion, I may have gone a bit overboard on the redecoes...
Even after his leader's demise, DEMOLISHOR refuses to believe the Great War is over. Freed during the ALCHEMOR's crash, he launches MINI-CONS BLACKOUT and WRECKAGE from his missile launchers to incite new conflict.
(design/lineart by @ikkadkarf!)
Frankenscorponok - it's alive!!! Lines by @Speed_Freak01 - his #botfrightfest Inktober redesigns have been consistently awesome, and I couldn't resist colouring up one of 'em. Happy Halloween!
(May as well post the individual images too, and my first pass at composing both together.)
Would've liked to do more colouring over Inktober but alas, it wasn't to be. That said, I've got something lined up for tomorrow that I'm really happy with - stay tuned!
#LostLightFest Rodimus - lines by @Waspshot23, colours by me! Had this done ages ago, but decided I wanted to do the LL colour scheme too and it ran away from me...
Deluge's justifications to Rampage and the actions of the Resistance are deliberately paralleled in this story's darkest scene. This ambiguity is further played with in "Lio Convoy: Unity Through Tyranny", which proves eerily perceptive despite its numerous inaccuracies... 3/6
The distinctive voices of these characters - Rampage in particular, though he does get some fantastic lines - are occasionally lost in the crowd. Despite their direct role in this story's plot, the humans also seem to have dulled somewhat... 4/5
For me, Bisk's fetch quest is this story's highlight - an absolute riot that appears out of nowhere and doesn't outstay its welcome. "Not All Megatrons" may not be as tonally consistent as previous stories, but it's no less fun as a result.
"The Beast Wars are upon us!" 4/4
