@thehiddenautist @RandomVNBot “Nnngg…….! *cough* *hack* *cough* Lies..!! Lies and slander…!! I, Furudo Erika, have indeed smoked before! I know what I’m doing, of course! *gasp, cough* Nuuuuuoooooooo…!!”
@RandomVNBot @thehiddenautist “Ha. Worst?? The ‘worst’ joint ever?? This is absurd. My handiwork is elegant and precise, your failure to appreciate it is what’s really the ‘worst!’ And besides!! It’s all the same once you’re smoking it, right??? Right…!!”
I’ve said similar before but like Fullmetal Alchemist and Soul Eater are like the holy grail of shounen anime to me still maybe I’m just stuck in the mid-2000s but really nobody can do it like they did
I bought a Japanese elementary grade version of the Wizard of Oz and it’s so cute I might explode
I’ll forgive it only because the art style is really incredible and beautiful like I get drunk off this shit
Guess which game was a better Nightmare Before Christmas sequel because it was not the one with Nightmare Before Christmas in the title
I was about to tweet “I can’t believe we’ve got every Science;Adventure game coming out in English EXCEPT occultic;nine” and then I remembered the box art for occultic nine looks like this
Higurashi is One yet Many. It encompasses so much and means different things to different people, and as a franchise it supports these kaleidoscope readings. Didn’t like Matsuribayashi? Here’s Miotsukushi. Didn’t like Sotsu? Here’s Meguri. Or have a different future altogether!
They don’t even have to be acclaimed or popular, I think it’s just as interesting to look at what’s flopped
(It’s interesting that a lot of popular VN anime have unpopular relatives. FSN has Tsukihime, S;G has C;H, Higu and Umi, Key’s got Rewrite)
If one were to take a look at the history of Visual Novel anime, what are some particularly notable or interesting examples?
Obviously there’s the big mainstream hits like Fate/Stay Night, Clannad, Steins;Gate and Higurashi but like what are some other ones that stand out
