After Sunday’s rpg session, I wanted more ALIEN. @PhillipKJohnson & @SalvadorLarroca’s run so far is really fucking good. A return to close-quarters, claustrophobic tension and a focus on character that has been missing from recent live action xeno outings.

Finished Button Man, and overcome with the same bafflement I had when I read Mazeworld. How is it that Arthur Ranson is a comics artist who is a blind spot to comics twitter??? A genius, all time great storyteller as far as I’m concerned.

One thing I gotta hand DC is the fact that they could have gone for easy movie synergy and redesigned Riddler to look more like the Paul Dano version, but they just went completely the other way :D

Found a beat up copy of BATMAN: SNOW a couple months ago and finally got around to reading it. Story by @JHWilliamsIII & Johnson, art by the late Seth Fisher. Incomparable feats of comic art here: the insane amount of detail, the hand drawn VFX. I love everything about it.
