The best thing about @alexriesart's aliens is that not only do they look amazing and are wildly imaginative, but they seem to function as living beings do. That's often harder than designing a plausible spaceship.

It used densified quartz fibres, arranged in a simpler manner than the american STS, that are just glued to a *fabric*. It also had hollow spaces in its wings.
