Idomeneus of Crete gets it even worse. He was the King of Crete and grandson of King Minos (hence why I drew him like a Minoan). After the war he promises Poseidon that he will sacrifice the first living thing that comes out of his house. This of course ends up being his own son.

Man, the more I learn about Araki the more I feel like I’d get along with him. This man literally uses the Bronze Age Nuragic bronze statuettes from Sardinia in JoJo. That’s a guy that really knows some obscure history and archaeology facts.
