#OTD 206 years ago, #USSConstitution engaged and defeated #HMSGuerriere and earned her nickname #Ironsides. One of our crew members saw a cannonball hit her, make a dent in her side, then fall into the sea. He then cried out, "Huzzah! Her sides are made of iron!" @USSConstMuseum
