Today’s painting is acrylic and my first ever try on a box canvas. For a novice in this medium I was fairly happy with the result. “Woman in straw Hat” was painted about a year ago. Thankyou all for your support 😀🌹

A little en plein air in the garden (2020).

Today’s painting is of the River Orwell at the Orwell Bridge. A Thames barge in traditional colours is sailing on the river. The sails were dyed with ox-blood years ago. Painted in 2019 if my memory holds up 😀

@BakerPaintings I did a life drawing class and found it a tricky thing to draw a human body correctly. I did gain more confidence as it went on but never really mastered it.

Hot off the brushes “The Jug”. Finished this morning. Does it look like silver to you? I was trying for that finish.
