Hot off the brushes @12noon today. First ever canvas. Really enjoyed doing this. Happy day everyone and thank you to everyone that gives me encouragement and support in whichever way you do that. 🌹☺️

Had a second try at self portrait…. Better than the first but pretty tricky to get it completely right. Practice practice practice I think 🤔

Although I’m concentrating on acrylic medium for at least six months this year to try and get used to handling the paint and improve, my real love is watercolours for all the things you can do with it and using other media with it here and there. Absinth bottle, a mystery air.

Hot off the brushes Stonehenge… as you’ve never seen it before… probably!

Did some life drawing yesterday. Charcoal and watercolour pencils. The brown sketch was a 10 minute pose, the multicoloured ones each 15 minutes pose. It was a great exercise to loosen up and I was really surprised at how fast I could work and how finished I got them done.
