Well, here's the updated idle animation for the redesign for my floofier, taller Tails.
I went nuts with all the secondary motions on this. Was fun <3
Gonna focus on finishing up Gejhi though before I get this boy going in MUGEN again though.

@Valuer_Pro Fluff is something I animate a lot with my critters, Jeibu here just one example, and I got through all of Gejhi with it, so it'll be fine. I like animating stuff like that. It adds a lot to the characters and really isn't all that time consuming.
Okay, I think I found the best of both looks keeping the jacket, and showing lots of the FLOOF I want my Tails to have.
I started playing with the palette masking idea, while possible, is too cumbersome to wanna do.
SO, here's the reworked design. I love it.
Since I've been reworking dash mechanics to have a "trot" before a full continuous run, instead of just being a short trot, I did Gejhi's "running" animation. Kinda lazy I suppose, but jetting on the ground looks cool and fits him well.
I never really showed much of the Dash Attack for Gejhi.
Dash attacks are universal for all my planned critters done with Fow+Power Attack button during a dash.
As seen in recent vid, Gejhi's passes through foes, does 2 weak hits, BUT set's up juggles.

WIP animation.
With the turn-attack mechanic I've added, this is one of Gejhi's special variants. This is standing ATK-2 turn, normally a knee. This move can cancel into the usual knee attack by tapping the button again, which will cause knockdown when used this way.

Made some changes to dash mechanics.
Anim is WIP
Made "trot" and continuous dash portions. Plus, a sliding turn for it. Reason: because, I've made smash-style Reverse Aerial Rush. You can turn away from your target during dash to use turn variants of ground & air moves.
W.I.P. of Ciacyl's Spin Kick normal. He lifts his feet off the ground during the attacks so is considered airborne during those frames. He'll be able to drift left/right movement during it as well.
Tail will have a close soft hit before the kick to create distance.
