Final turn in screenshot for Lighting Week. Learned how to make proper lightmap UVs to texture static shadows.
Quick concept before bed of Kylie's pilot outfit. Will make a few more of these to decide on the final design later.
Worked on some concepts for Kylie today, but couldn't make anything decent. Need to get better at human stuff.
Using xNormal I generated normal maps, AO, and bent normals (for lighting). The last pic is the final diffuse map.
Final project for the block was to create a demo-reel quality weapon prop. LOTS of concepts to choose from.
Early blockouts are always fun to look at! Gift for @ChimeraSynx... This will look cooler, I promise!
Final - Was a fun challenge, and just nice to do 2D stuff again with characters I've been wanting to draw.
WIP - value painting, @ChimeraSynx helped me with lighting, then applied gradient maps to block out colors.
