FINALLY. Thanks to a great “how to draw” video session with Eric for the movie we now know who he’s voicing in the film!
Eric provides the voices of:
Daffy, Porky, Elmer, Foghorn and Marvin.
Oh, also got to hear a bit of Gabriel Iglesias as Speedy in the Space Jam 2 Annecy preview and he sounds great!
Honestly would not have been able to tell it was him had I not already known.
Space Jam 2’s decision of making LeBron animated when he enters Tune World is something they should’ve done in the original film.
It actually allows them to fully embrace the Looney Tunes style without having to do uncanny, not even close to “The Mask” CGI human toon slapstick.
Let us bless the animation direction of Spike Brandt and all the 2D animators who look to be giving us some truly vibrant and beautiful 2D segments in the movie because WOW did they outdo themselves here.
The only funny thing about this show is the idea that several years down the line all these characters are going to grow to up to shoot, eat, and beat the absolute shit out of each other.
The Baby Wile E. Short by Spike Brandt did “Baby Looney Tunes” 1000x better than this. https://t.co/vWB5cFV4KZ
Some great ones right there, here are some of mines. https://t.co/cAXPoYONWW
I love how Pete Browngardt has directed two Bugs shorts that are new takes on two specific Clampett shorts with the two characters who are notorious for outsmarting Bugs and getting under his skin.
These shorts in particular feel like such a loving homage to Clampett from Pete.
Watched the deleted scenes for the Tom and Jerry movie.
They don’t fix the main problem the movie has or even improve it. At best they give you more moments with Tom and Jerry, including a very surreal piano sequence, but those are few and far between. It’s mostly human stuff.
