Hot take: I am certain that if Xenogears came out today with modern technology and a proper advertising campaign that it could be as popular as something like Persona 5.

In the Project X Zone games, while in battle the bottom screen shows a unique portrait that reflects the pair you're currently using. In Project X Zone 1, this is the portrait for KOS-MOS and T-elos.

Xenoblade is trending again. I'll use this opportunity to say that you should try out a Xenoblade game even if you've only considered it once. You will not be disappointed.

Hiroyuki Sawano, Xenoblade X's composer, is also famous for composing works for other media. Attack on Titan, Seven Deadly Sins, and Blue Exorcist are just a few examples.

Cherami Leigh is a very well known English VA. She voices Alexa in Xenoblade X of course, but she's also Makoto from Persona 5, Mae from Fire Emblem: Echoes, and A2 from Nier: Automata. She's certainly brought all of these characters to life!

In Baten Kaitos, another Monolith Soft game, there is an enemy also called "Gnosis" and it definitely looks like it could come from Xenosaga. You encounter it in the "Portal to an Outer Dimension."
