@HypercubicPeg @kusudamame @GirihApp I do not know how to do those spirals now.
But soon I will release a new version of the @ZelligeApp which will render shapes in 3D to apply physical lighting.
@PaulaKrieg I always get tears in my eyes seeing this proportions. Please have a look at:

Having fun tessellating with triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons and more at #WorldTessellationDay

@Simon_Gregg I is not possible to tile the above pattern with threefold symmetric tiles, if you do not want to cut a triangle in three parts.
The underlying grid is hexagonal. And the edge of those hexagons are in the center of triangles.

@rebin3 @anniek_p @Trianglemancsd @samira_mian @Veganmathbeagle @saeid_shakouri The current develepment version of the @ZelligeApp has different twins shapes.
I call it twin, when two pentagons are forming one octagon, with two convave angles.
The next version of the @ZelligeApp will support many more different shapes including dual polygons to create the duals of all uniform tilings.

@Tom_Ruen Most of the dual shapes are already included in the @ZelligeApp but this beauty "1 2 3 Trapezoid" I had missed so far.
@meinenartstudio @rvis_bh You could modify the petal shape to have only two different edge lengths. Then you will get regular octagons.
