Chiins are also adept tiumalinque who regulate their bloodflow to perform extraordinary abilities. For this reason, they practice ritualistic acrobatics to push their bodies into a trance like state.
One of their notable features is their large, square shaped eyes similar to some supernatural beings seen in Maya art. Culturally however, they are inspired by the preclassic Mesoamerican cultures of Tlatilco and the Olmec.
