Shared this on IG. Teaser of the new comic I am working, Dream Rider which is a mesoamerican sci fi. Originally a 6 page comic I later expanded and co-wrote with @rey_tonatiuh .

@RafaelmenaI Ahhh I see. Tbh I thought character design wise one of the outfits of the teaser did look like a cross between Rey from Star Wars and Korra from Avatar. I don't consume that much pop culture stuff though so it's the only comparison that came to mind for me.

Alright let’s exam some of the details of the illustration. First let’s discuss her outerwear: she has a white feather cloak from the #kite bird. A colorful variety of the #carolinaparakeet was also considered. Underneath you can see a netted frame for the feathers.

@Antiproton_com I support this. I always found the options for a lot of men's clothing in stores pretty limited. It'd be nice to see capes make a comeback too.
