@Antiproton_com It's a gauze weave probably of cotton but it's technique makes the cloth transluscent. So it's a loose weave where the weft threads are arranged in pairs and are crossed before and after each warp thread keeping the weft firmly in place. Here are some examples.

Notably, the Classic period examples here and in the Maya region were also associated with rulership and fire. Similarly, you also have Xiuhcoatl's association with the Aztec crown.
