This is a rare moment when Xiphos' character motivation is off, because it's trying to move the plot ahead. I'm not a fan and I may fix it someday. A lot of people think his tattoos are tears and - they're right, kind of! It's a Barbarian pattern called "The Tears of Kargob".
Goblins normally look like this. The skull masked guy is wearing a mask. Goblins are a subterranean cousin of Fawns and they are both part of the Kargob Phylum, along with Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, Giant Horses and more.
I drew this for someone's birthday but I took too long so I never told them it was meant to be them. lol
Zombies in the Swords universe are humans who have had their souls removed and put in swords by Necromancers, so when they say "BLAADES!" they want their soulsword back.
Rapier Tapir should have had a sword in his mouth here, otherwise a future joke makes less sense. It's a continuity error I will definitely fix if I ever Kickstart a Premium Edition of the series.
Sickle finally got those knives out of her head. A lot of people thought they were hairclips, even after showing her scars.
