You can see Smith the Blacksmith in the background of the last panel, and what I think was the Blademaster before I cut him from the Swor'nament lineup.
It was May the 4th, which means every comic you've seen in this thread so far came out between March 5th and May 4th. That explains a lot about those gradient backgrounds, lol. We haven't explored Edgeypt or the Really High Elves of Green Moon any further so far.
The mobile game Immortal Taoist stole the art from this and used it to make an ad for their game, so it must have done something right. Just some good old slapstick historical humor.
You can't go straight from being a Squirtle to being a Blastoise. You must aim to first become a Wartortle, the perfect Pokemon design, and then you can ruin your life by becoming Blastoise.
+2☕️ I have a lot of characters who make/sell weird swords, but this organic, mind-control type sword was kind of a bad fit for this character. Maybe he won it in a poke'r game.
