While Ford's own Dagenham factory made mk II saloons in large numbers (many for export), there was a further coachbuillt low-volume model in the range. The convertible, by Carbodies of Coventry, was offered across all three nameplates and was a glamorous car for its day.

The bold and innovative air-cooled rear-engined Chevrolet Corvair was influential but ultimately a dead-end for GM, with early problems tarnishing the car's reputation. The unusual layout did not hamper the choice of bodystyles seen in this 1961 brochure. #carbrochure #Chevrolet
The European design was also built in Brazil, and is shown here alongside a separate local model, the TC, based on the Type 3. They are shown together in this 1971 Brazilian range brochure. The VW Karmann Ghia TC's 2+2 body was unique to Brazil.
This much earlier and more stylised brochure on Karmann-Ghia coupé and convertible gave the model an aura of glamour At this stage in the car's career it used the Beetle's 1192cc 40bhp engine.
