Some more art from my archives circa 2014 for day 4 of #ArtAdventCalendar - a study of various common birds that live around Kachemak Bay, AK. Sandhill Crane, Oystercatcher, and a Northern Shoveler.

I heard there's some kind of #ArtAdventCalendar thing going around, so I'll do my best to post some things in the coming days.

This is actually from 2012 and it's an Amanita muscaria mushroom study I did for an as yet unfinished piece that may or may not ever be completed.

@franzanth I haven't done art that focuses entirely on crabs, so I did a zoom-in on my "Nemegt Sunrise" piece to focus on the hermit crab in a Viviparus shell.
