In 1459 famous Swordsman & Weapons Master Hans Talhoffer designed a diving suit using a Frogmouth Jousting Helm covered in leather with hose pipe. Made a copy for my Man at Arms Talks years ago. (He also weaponised bucklers! My replica copy has flat spikes 'Health & Safety')
Wolf of Badenoch's Tomb with location of hinge for attaching a vented battle visor or a smooth unvented jousting visor. Both visors overlap/lock at the neck giving double thickness to throat area. As lance strikes cut thru mail aventails in this area in the past. #WolfOfBadenoch
